We received a call yesterday from a new customer that was hacked. The hackers accessed his email and xero and changed the bank details on his invoices. Currently we have detected almost $20000 transferred to the hackers account from client deposits and were working towards securing his environment. It is extremely important to have all passwords setup with multi factor authentication which requires a secondary code to login to your accounts via an app or sms. This will ensure that if your password is compromised they still can’t get in. Prevention is better than detection, everyone needs protection, so get in touch today.
